About Aslak Ingström

Storyteller of dark tales and hidden truths Aslak Ingström writes about what lies hidden beneath the surface. His stories move between psychological suspense, dark crime and quiet abysses.

At their heart are characters poised on the boundary between memory and reality. Atmosphere is not merely a backdrop, but part of the inner movement of the story.

Ingström finds inspiration in historic places, forgotten stories and moments when perception begins to falter.

He does not see his fiction as escapism, but as an encounter – with shadows, with questions, and sometimes with oneself.
